King of the Fishers

The Kingfishers that we have here in the UK are quite stunning little birds but the first one that I saw was in South Africa. Since that first sighting I have become hooked on the tiny beauties and have photographed them many times now. However, we only have the one species here, so when I’m in Africa I always want to see and shoot more Kingfishers. The shots below feature several species from the Kruger National Park which vary greatly in both size and colouration but are all stunning in their own way.
